RIANA at Advances in 3OM and Photonics Technologies 2025
The 3rd International Conference “Advances in 3OM: Opto-Mechatronics, Opto-Mechanics, Optical Metrology and Photonics Technologies” is being held in Timișoara, Romania, 8–11 December 2025. This SPIE-affiliated event brought together a vibrant community of researchers advancing cutting-edge photonics, laser processing, metrology, and deep-tech innovation.
RIANA was proudly represented through two of its cornerstone European networks:
🔹 LaserLab Europe — via colleagues from LP3 (France) and INFLPR (Romania), actively engaged in laser–matter interaction, ultrafast processing, and advanced photonics.
🔹 EuroNanoLab — via IMT Bucharest, showcasing expertise in nanofabrication, microelectronics, and process integration.
This joint presence emphasized RIANA’s unique mission: bridging top-tier nanoscience and photonics infrastructures across Europe, enabling open access, scientific excellence, and cross-domain collaboration. The conference provided an excellent platform to present the RIANA vision, highlight available access opportunities, and strengthen ties with the regional and international opto-mechatronics community.
A special thanks to our hosts at the Politehnica University of Timișoara for an exceptionally well-organized event, and for providing a warm scientific atmosphere, beautifully complemented by the festive setting in the auditorium! Together with our partners, RIANA continues to promote open science, advanced research capabilities, and new collaborative pathways for Europe’s photonics and nanotechnology ecosystems.
