RIANA was represented at the Annual Workshop of Ion and Particle Beam 2026, held in Munich on 15–16 June 2026, by our Junior Scientist, Dr. Ryan Yang.

During the workshop, Dr. Yang presented a poster highlighting focused ion beam (FIB) techniques and introducing the RIANA project and its network of research infrastructures. The event brought together researchers from across the ion and particle beam community to share their latest work, discuss emerging developments, and exchange ideas on future research directions.

Presenting RIANA at the workshop provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of the project’s services and access opportunities among potential users. It also enabled valuable discussions with researchers working in ion and particle beam technologies, helping to strengthen connections within the community and promote future collaborations.

We are pleased that RIANA was part of this inspiring event and look forward to building on the new contacts and discussions established during the workshop.
