RIANA

Advancing Energy Materials: RIANA – project at IUCr2026, LLC

We are pleased to congratulate RIANA Junior Scientist Dr. Alexey Maximenko from the National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS for representing the RIANA community at the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) 2026 conference in Calgary, Canada.

IUCr is a premier global hub for structural science, materials chemistry, physics, and advanced characterization. This made it the perfect stage to showcase how RIANA bridges the gap between large-scale research infrastructures and complex scientific questions.

Dr. Maximenko’s poster, “RIANA: From Facilities to Workflows – Multimodal X-ray and Complementary Methods for Energy Materials“, highlighted RIANA’s tailored workflows, access to world-class research facilities, and the range of advanced techniques available to researchers through the project.

The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with researchers and potential users from Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, helping to raise awareness of RIANA and explore opportunities for future collaborations.

By connecting with researchers across diverse scientific fields, we are expanding RIANA’s visibility and laying the groundwork for exciting future collaborations.

Thank you, Alexey, for driving our mission forward on the global stage!
