First Call for 'Invite an Expert' Program
The RIANA project has launched the first call for its ‘Invite an Expert’ program, designed to foster inter-network collaboration by enabling RIANA networks to invite distinguished experts from other networks. These experts will share their knowledge, present their latest research, and contribute to scientific discussions within the consortium.
Each RIANA network is eligible to use this initiative once per year, with financial support available to cover part of the travel and meeting expenses for the invited expert. The program aims to enhance the scientific impact of meetings, workshops, and conferences within the network.
Interested networks must submit an application detailing the proposed expert’s credentials, the relevance of their expertise, an outline of the planned event, and an estimated budget. The selection process will consider the alignment of the expert’s presentation with RIANA’s scope, the expected impact on the inviting network, and the overall quality of the proposal.
Applications must be submitted as a single PDF file to Gregor Hlawacek (g.hlawacek@hzdr.de) at least six months before the event.
