The RIANA project has announced its first call for staff exchanges aimed at enhancing the experimental skills and competencies of Junior Scientists within its network. This initiative provides young researchers with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in different research environments across the RIANA consortium.

Eligible applicants must be affiliated with a RIANA partner institution and select a host facility outside their current network.

The selection process will emphasize the scientific quality of the proposed training, the potential for collaborative publication, and the expected impact on the applicant’s research skills. Applications from underrepresented groups, including women and minorities, are strongly encouraged.

The submission deadline for the first call is May 31, 2025, at 23:59 CET. Interested scientists must submit a detailed application, including a training proposal, letters of endorsement, and confirmation from the host institution. Applications should be sent as a single PDF file to Gregor Hlawacek at g.hlawacek@hzdr.de.
