As one of Europe’s premier biennial gatherings for materials innovation, it was the perfect place to showcase how RIANA is empowering the scientific community.

RIANA project was presented by our Junior Scientist, Dr. Ryan Yang in the European FIB Network Workshop, held at Aix-Marseille University from 8 to 11 September 2026.

RIANA Junior Scientist Dr. Alexey Maximenko from National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS represented our community at the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) 2026 conference in Calgary, Canada

RIANA was represented at the Annual Workshop of Ion and Particle Beam 2026 in Munich, where Junior Scientist Dr. Ryan Yang presented a poster showcasing the project and its opportunities to the ion and particle beam research community.

During a working visit to the SOLARIS Centre, RIANA Junior Scientist Dr. Debasish Saha from LENS explored the capabilities of several beamlines, met with beamline scientists, and gained valuable insights that will support future RIANA users and foster new collaborations.

RIANA was presented at XAFS 2026 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, 21-26 June 2026, where our Junior Scientist, Dr. Alexey Maximenko, showcased the project to the international X-ray absorption spectroscopy community.
